An attractive French mantel clock of the Napoléon III period c. 1860 The glazed case framed in gilt brass with lavish gilt swags and appliqués. Base and top urn-finial of griotte rouge marble. White enamel dial with floral swags and gilt hands. Eight day movement with large size lenticular pendulum, striking the hours and half-hours on a single bell. In exceptional and glowing condition.
