French gilded bronze mantel clock
A French mantel clock of the Louis-Philippe period, dated 1839 made by Vincenti. The case of well detailed fire-gilded bronze and patinated bronze, surmounted by a child figure blowing bubbles from a silvered dish. The side burnished panels are exceptionally fine and the whole clock is in glowing order. Silvered engine-turned dial with blued Breguet hands. Eight day silk-suspension movement striking hours and halves on a bell.
